Pattaya_Fox Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 Two Ladyboy’s arrested and accused of stealing from a Dutch tourist on Pattaya Beach. . They confessed to the crime and are now safely behind bars. I wonder how long it will be before they are back on their patch. The Police should be making their presence more visible along Beach Rd in order to prevent these `ladies of the second category` from prowling there. Maybe they should be making more use of the so called high tec camera system which has been installed. Prevention is much better than the cure and the adverse publicity it brings with it.
Dragonmode Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I was at Baboona Hotel around Soi 3 for almost 2 weeks in April and was amazed at the lack of police presence at night along the Road. Of course the one time I did see one by there was during day when he was trying to intimidate me into giving up loot for not wearing a helmet on motorcycle during Songkran. Luckily, a thai girl friend I was with called him on it and he just left rather pissed. He was rather tall, on a motorcycle, and unusually aggressive.

Yes you see many during the daytime `topping up their tea money`.....but at night when the crime is being committed their numbers seem to dwindle. What ever happened to the electric cars which were donated to Pattaya police for patroling amongst other places along Beach Road?? I saw them under cover in the Police car park.....but I have yet to see them along Beach Road. I suppose that they are ideal for the golf course
banchang Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I'm allways amazed at how fast the police catch these people. If this happend in leafy warwickshire(where I am at the momet) just imagine it "two hoodies attack an old granny and sped off on a moped" How long would it take for our finest men in blue to turn up trumps . I think never would be the answer ,thats if they botherd to get off there fat asses at all. end of rant
Pattaya_Fox Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I'm allways amazed at how fast the police catch these people. I suppost that it helped that the only two who were stood infront of the Shell Petrol Station were dressed in fishnet tights, were 6 feet tall and were bashing each other with their handbags as they squabbled over the loot.............
LaoPo Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I'm allways amazed at how fast the police catch these people. That's because you and I are Farang. The Police-guys are there (walking/beach road) every day/night and know their 'babies' and where they're hiding or coming/going from/to, especially the Katoeys. LaoPo

Well it seems the Katoeys stay in the same place after they commit their crimes, so don't think its that hard for the MIB to arrest em.

LaoPo I agree the arrests are too quick to be credible. It happens over and over. Remember the only description the police had, was that provided by the Farang. Do you think you could really give a good enough description to differentiate them from the 100's of other lady boys or whatever out there. ALSO time and again they catch the "crooks" a block or two away. Hard to believe the guys are just going to hang out at the crime scene and wait so they can readily confess. They do say the criminal always returns, but I think they were thinking more in terms of days or weeks, rather than minutes. I think more likely the two that were caught, were guilty of other "crimes" and a confession here saved them from a bigger hassle.

HA! Quite the site you vividly paint. Reminds me of Manhattan/Times Square/42nd Street in the 80's.

WISteve Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 "I suppost that it helped that the only two who were stood infront of the Shell Petrol Station were dressed in fishnet tights, were 6 feet tall and were bashing each other with their handbags as they squabbled over the loot............. " My compliments, P Fox! Best one-liner I've read on here in a long time! It still amazes me why anyone wanders down Beach Road late at night alone! I understand what their looking for, but with the folks who frequent that area well known to all, why would you risk it? So many safer alternatives if you're feeling a bit randy. Why not stick to the well lighted bar areas if you're on the prowl? Not trying to blame the victim for the crime, but we all have a responsibility to use common sense I think. ~WISteve
