I have Family coming from Canada during the Olympics. They really want to watch it on TV or on the internet. I currently don't have satellite TV and I'm thinking of getting it. I don't want TrueVision. I used them for 10 years and finally got fed up and canceled my subscription with them last year. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any other companies out there. Maybe a Sat company that has some good sport channel where we can watch the Olympics when it's on. OR if anyone knows of any good Internet TV sites where we can watch the Olympics. (Pay or Free is fine)

Load Tunnel Bear (paid option) & watch CBC that's what I'm doing.

Contact them about their coverage of winter olympics (or someone can tell here).

IPTV with content history is really the best option, because live streams/Sat TV might be nice, but remember the time difference.

With content history you can watch the events of your choice at any time of day.

I use a German language IPTV service which streams from Bangkok.

Don't want to name it, as it will not be that helpful to you.

Youtube has a winter olympics channel btw.

I don't know what they will cover though.

You can try Google Chrome browser and install "ZenMate".

Set location to UK.

This morning it worked fine.

Whether it is good enough during the Thai internet peak hours: not tested yet.

I couldn't find the Olympic Ice Hockey on that site.

Also tried Zenmate and couldn't access Canada. Tried Hola and although I got access to CBC, it only gave me a couple of seconds at a time and then froze for a few seconds before resuming.

Location Canada is not available with ZenMate.

But UK works with BBC iplayer.

And I guess (not checked) that they will also cover ice hockey.
