Rear Wheel Forza Replacement

I had read some time back that there was a recall on the early made Forza's...and if this is true,

I have yet to find a dealer, much less the one I bought the motorcycle from that will even consider it.

I'm not sure why when I acquire about the warranty for the rear wheel, transmission issue,

the dealership always ask- Where I buy the motorcycle?

My belief is the warranty is through Honda,

not the dealership, am I wrong?

The dealership follows up with- I need to take it back to where I purchased the bike.

Problem is they don't have a mechanic on staff at the moment,

and it's been that way for the past three months.

It's a small Honda Dealership,

and that's why they had a Forza in stock,

when I bought it.

But my general problem with this is: what if I was traveling across country,

and a warranty issue presented itself,

could I not get or receive service from any local Honda Dealership?

Has anyone had this issue, and if so,

how is the best way to resolve the issue?
