'1 Month" Stamp (28 Day) How Long Is It Really Good For?

does anyone know with certainty how long the stamp is good for, i doont want to thumb thru my pp and count the days.

the month is 30 days...

i come in on the eve of the 16th -

i must leave by the 14th @ 23:59 correct?

there MAY be a grace period BY AIRPORT of 1 day

there is no grace period on malaysian border (sure).

the fine has been bumped to 500 p.d @ airport (??) -correct?

The visa on arrival allows you to remain in Thailand for 30 days

i come in on the eve of the 16th -

Assuming you arrive on the 16th June then you will have to leave on 15th July

there MAY be a grace period BY AIRPORT of 1 day

DO NOT rely on a 1 day grace period... leave on the date stamped in the passport, leaving after that date is OVERSTAY

30 days is 30 days. They do consider 30th and 31st of a month as well as 28th or 29th February.

Any mistake made at BKK - airport can be corrected at BKK immigration office. They got a counter for that.
