PATTAYA:--On Saturday the body of a Cambodian Construction Worker was found in the Pong area close to the Maprachan Reservoir in East Pattaya, and less than 24 hours later three suspects were in custody, accused of his murder.

On Saturday Morning the body of Mr. Kar aged 52 was found close to a constructors Campsite for The Vineyard Phase 3 Housing Estate. The victims neck had been cut open to the point where the victim was almost decapitated.

Initially Police suspected a Thai Man was the prime suspect in the murder as he was part of a group of men who had gone drinking with the victim the night before. After questioning of work colleagues it soon became clear that three fellow Cambodian Workers were suspected of conducting the murder.

Mr. Saern aged 31, Mr. Bom aged 23 and Mr. Lee aged 33 were arrested at the Campsite and taken to Nongprue Police Station where they confessed to the murder of Mr. Kar. The three men claimed the victim was using foul language and in their own words “showing off” when the group went to drink together.
