Movie Listings in Bangkok

Since the death of Movieseer last month, we have launched an alternative –

www.moveedoo.com

Right now the site has current listings for all the Major Group theatres across Thailand, about half the SF Group theatres, The Apex Group (Scala and Lido) as well as House RCA.

We plan to also incorporate listings for independent showings like the Frieze-Greene club, the Goethe Institute, Alliance Française and others.

Our focus is on up to date information that is easy to use. It's an (independent) work in progress, and I hope you find it useful.

Thanks for your effort, a proper aggregated movie showtimes website for Thailand is definitely missing...

I appreciate the effort to get away from the clutter that are typical Thai website but I'm afraid you went too far on the other side to a point where it is detrimental to usability. I think you over simplified it.

On the main page, i can't see more than 3 movie title at the time along with 3 showing locations... and that's it. It's just too cumbersome to browse.

When you know exactly what movie you want to see, it's fine (although I can't seem to get the search function to work, so I have to scroll then click 2 times... then scroll again until I find a movie theater I'm interested in). But in reality, people who look for showtimes consider many criteria simultaneously, especially within Bangkok. Ex: compare movies available in 2-3 cinemas in the area.

Right now, it's still easier for me to open the 2-3 websites of the major theater brands in Bangkok and compare from there.

Ideally who make use of the gMap API default to the user's current location and time/date, present a list sorted by location immediately, then let them select a different place or time, let them filter based on language.
