February 11, 201412 yr Much as enjoy going to the supermaket and observing the delightful scenery that is available in the shopping centre and at the checkouts there are times I just cannot. Chiangrai has joined the internet age and today I did my grocery shopping without leaving home. Tops now have online shopping with at the moment free delivery in the greater Chiangrai area. (VF you are out of luck.) Could be handy for some if they need it.
February 11, 201412 yr Last few months I have been using Lazada for various electronics bits, and now they have expanded into all sorts of household goods. Last Saturday I noticed a great deal on a 32 inch flat screen Panasonic for 7,900 baht - ordered and it was delivered on Monday at 15,00 - paid cash to the driver. Terrific price , terrific service.
February 11, 201412 yr Author Just to add the girl that phoned back to confirm they had everything spoke quite good english. I think she is the one that will be handling the online side so most people will not have any trouble. I like the COD idea too. No messing with cards (other than the Spots one for the discounts)

February 14, 201412 yr Speaking of Tops Trend Setters, Received their magazine today and low and behold they have a "taste of Australia 2014" edition. I couldn't see any Vegemite but am fully stocked anyway (thanks Scea) but noticed they have Cheezels, Sara Lee, Weetbix, Tim Tams etc. So for those of you that require some good eating and culture, pop down to Tops this week.

They normally stock vegemite but a few weeks ago there was none on the shelf and they ordered in 6 packs for us so we could still bhave breakfast.
