Real 3BB International Speed (Dark Side)

Featured Replies

I am wondering what the actual speed of 13Mb 3BB connection internationally is.

Anybody with 3BB on the Dark Side, could you be so kind and run www.speedtest.net

and chose a server in the US or Europe ? And report the speed you get and the speed

you are paying for.

Does anybody use the "Prime" package ? Is that worth it ?

Thanks !

In Central Park 4(soi Tanman) it varies from around 1500kb in the morning to 12mb later

Its faster than my previous 10 mb 600Baht service-watching streaming video from BBCIplayer or PBS had severe buffering problems

Now that is rare.

Upload speeds are faster now also if that is important.

I had to buy a new modem when I changed the service-old one wouldn't support the change.

New modem I think was 750Baht(from 3BB)

I've had it(13mb service) for 3 months.

It has been worth the extra cost for me

London - UK DL/UL: 14.68/1.01

New York USA 14.17/0.78

Using http://www.speedtest.net/

I live near to Magnolias.

Not exactly sure the name of my plan but I pay 963 Baht per month for a 14 Mb dl service. It is very reliable

It's 99.9% certain that those speeds indicate cached results. I'd be very interested to know what results you get using testmynet as I'm trying to find an ISP with semi decent international speeds.
