We've just gone through the process of extending my wifes' visa based on marriage to me. The process concluded last week where she was given an extension until Jan 2007.

Now, back in early April when we first kicked off the visa extension process, immigration stapled a slip of paper saying that she had to complete the 90-day reporting on the 1st of July.

Given that she went down to immigration the other day when she had her extesnsion approved, does the 90 day reporting clock now get reset?

Application for first extension is counted as your first 90 day report so the paper she has in her passport is correct and she needs to report her address on July 1 (plus or minus 7 days). Only the first application for extension is considered an address report so now it will remain as stamped on each report unless she exits country and in that case the next report will be due 90 days after her return.
