Thai Law Seminar

Featured Replies

A very informative post scorpio...I think you forgot an attachment.

If you are new to Thailand these kinds of events can be useful and informative. It is also a good way to meet other foreigners who might be living in the area. If you attempt to ascertain why things are done the way they are done you may leave disappointed but you will leave knowing more than when you arrived.

Thanks Scorpio: law, including Thai law, changes, so whatever was relevant 20 years (or 5 years) ago, or last month, may be out of date now.

In that case, one may as well wait until a need arises before looking for information.smile.png

The thing is VF, some farangs trade on how long they have lived in Thailand (or Lanna); some others even trade on how long they've been on TV, or how many posts they've made on TV. This helps people with low self esteem, or limited education, or limited experience, to feel important.
