February 12, 201412 yr Where to buy in cm at a cheap price? I know a small normal fridge is not much more, but I have a need for just a small fridge. So, where to go for a minibar fridge? Any newish experiences of price? Thanks
February 12, 201412 yr Tesco 3500 Baht (Although I'm not in Chiang Mai but I guess they should be the same price everywhere)
February 13, 201412 yr Author Thanks folks. The usual places then. I just wondered if there was a place that specialised in supplying hotels with them, but I guess they'd be bulk deals. Will go have a look in tesco and makro.
February 13, 201412 yr I see the same small Toshiba model in many stores. We got ours at Central Kad Suan Kaew. Fits under the counter of the bar just perfectly. Great for storing beer, wine, soda, water. That way, during one of the Chiang Mai's many power outages we can still enjoy liquid refreshment without having to open the door to the big refrigerator and exposing the food to the warm air without knowing how long the power will be out. The only thing I don't like about it is that it isn't frost free -- every six weeks or so it has to be defrosted.
