Non-Immigrant 0 Visam - 90 days Visa Run, can I do that at without flying out?

Featured Replies

Dears,

I have a Non-Immigrant 'O' - multiple entry Visa. I need to get a new Visa stamp (90 days) by the end of this month.

Can I just drive to a Cambodian Border (land), cross it (pay for a Cambodian Visa) and get straight back and get a new 90 days stamp?

Before I flew out either Phnom Phen or to the Philippines.

I need to rent a car this time anyway to visit people at Chantaburi/Prachin/Korat.

(sure I google, but not sure how accurate the info is right now)

Appreciate any help/info.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Jack

Yes, you can do it by air, land or sea and will get a new 90 days when you return to Thailand.

I can enter by land, sea or air and get a new 90 day entry.

Just cross the border to Cambodia enter and return to Thailand.

Dear Mario2008, ubonjoe,

Thank you for your replies, very appreciated.

o I hear I can do that Ban Laem, Poipet , ... and somewhere Buri Ram, Cambodia borders.

(All would be fine for me.)

o The costs are still $25 for the Cambodian Visa, Passport copy, 1 passport picture.

Is this still valid?

Need to park the car somewhere secure...

Any recommendations/hints.

Again thanks a lot

Jack

I renewed my non-o last week in Hat Lek (Koh Kong).

requirements for the Cambodian side:

20 baht for the "health officer"

1200 Baht for the visa

300 baht for "returning the same day"

NO copy passport

NO photo

Optional: 50/100 baht to Cambodian tout to expedite matters.

NB: My passport has a chip, so my identity was checked by means of a digital scan of my fingertips.
