Best Island Where To Spend Holidays?

Featured Replies

Coming Thailand for the first time and bring my familly with me.

After 2 days in Bangkok we would like to go on some island.

Which is the best Island or the best beach to spend 20 days?

(and some golfing as well!!!)

Thanks for your advice!

Hi:

if you want to do beach and golf and have almost 3 weeks. I think there are only 2 islands you can consider Phuket and Samui as there are nice beaches and golf facilities. There are plenty of hotels and flights on offer.

I agree, especially if you have golf high on your agenda.

Both Phuket and Samui certainly offer superb beaches and are big enough o be able to escape the crowds once in a while.

An ideal solution would be to split your time between the two, regular flights go between Samui and Phuket for around 3,000 Baht.

From Phuket you have easy access to Krabi, Ao Nang, Koh Phi Phi. From Samui you can easily get to Koh Phangan or Koh Tao which both have their different charms.

Obviously you'd be heading back up to Bangkok and there's some superb golf to be had around the city, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi. Some of the best golf courses in the country in fact!

Have a great time!
