Lite Beer Posted February 23, 2014 Author Share Posted February 23, 2014 Unexploded M 79 grenade found inside Civil Court compound BANGKOK: -- The Civil Court became the target of perpetrators when an unexploded M79 grenade was found inside its compound at noon today. A guard at the Civil Court on Ratchadapisek road found a suspicious object on the ground near a tree.He inspected with other guards who later said was an unexploded grenade.Phaholyothin police were alerted and used a car tyre to surround it for safety and reported the finding to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) police to detonate it.Initially police believed it was fired into the compound, hit the tree and fell on the ground but unexploded. He said the People’s Democratic Reform Committee’s actions resulted in a steep fall in the prices of some stocks.
