Phra Buddha Issara leads protesters to besiege Voice TV

Pretty disgusting using the farmers, who actually have a real grievence, as pawns to further their own attention seeking status.

How about shutting your pie hole Issara and let the leader of the farmers talks for themsleves and not for you!!

First of all, that is exactly what they have requested and secondly, what about the leader of the farmers the other day. Brought a convey of farmers to Bangkok, cut a deal for himself and took them home. Result, an empty promise and more out of pocket expenses.

When the farmers came, the first thing Suthep did was to go collecting donation to help the farmers.

Millions were collected over a few days to pay for lawyers fee.

No wonder the farmers were not too excited.

It is the government who abuses the farmer....by not paying. It isn't a grievance that came from god....it is made by the Shinawatras who also own Voice TV

And several months before any demonstrations. I have every sympathy for the Farmers current financial plight, however, based on this vote buying policy, the Farmers voted in considerable numbers for the PTP. Sadly, they now reap what they sowed by allowing themselves to be hoodwinked by the current power base. Many have now allowed themselves to be persuaded to go home and not demonstrate against the Caretaker Government. Very sad they should be so gullible and trusting. Hopefully many are experiencing a political awakening and will become far more discerning as to who they vote for and hold them accountable for their policies. They are badly in need of an honest and strong leader who can explain to them how this has all come about and the other issues PTP are involved in, to put more in perspective what their main agenda is, which certainly does not look to be the majority of the populace of Thailand.

Sad to say they are just pawns and equally dispensable to those who are using them to promote their own anti-democratic aims. Ironically, if Suthep had allowed the Dems to field candidates and allowed all those folk in the south to vote, we might now have a different party leading the government, albeit a coalition. But being elected into government through the democratic process is not and never was the real aim.

When you want to be dictator you can't have coalitions. It's Suthep's way or no way.

That's true

What next? anyone who has worked for the Shiniwatras or continues to work be publically flogged

That's quite a Grand Canyon leap you make from acknowledging it's a peaceful protest to wondering if public floggings are next.

.

If you're going to quote me, then use the whole quote as it was a question, not a statement, hence the questions marks !!

See that word "wondering" in my sentence?

That acknowledges you were asking a question.

I thought it a terrific leap that that question would even come to mind two sentences after agreeing it was a peaceful protest.

This is what is called a peaceful protest?

Based on the details given in the OP, yes.

If group of people block your house and prevent you from going out and coming in. is it peaceful?

Show me that anyone was prevented from going in or going out and I will consider your question at that time.

Just so that we're talking about a same situation.

He is a disgraceful monk because he is not living by the vows he took for how a monk is to conduct himself. Being a monk is not a part time job. If he wants to go protest, trespass and all that sort of political action, the proper thing for him to do is to resign from the monkhood. As simple as that. But he won't and that is what brings disgrace, both to himself and for honest monks who have taken the vows of monkhood seriously.

The most effective propaganda is one that has some truth surrounding it.

All the better to make people blindly buy the lies it is passing.

So fake propaganda is that which is twisting truth to a false conclusion.

Pure propaganda is the lies that the twisted truth is supporting by addition of omission.

disgraceful fake monk at it again

Really? How is he fake? Care to defame his character any more?

Are you the type of person that would prefer nice and lazy monk's sitting around a dirty temple with rubbish every where?

Thai Monks need to be more like him and less lazy.

He has a right to be there considering the grave lies coming out of that building

But only if they are on your side of the fence.
