Notification of visa extension

Featured Replies

I just received an appointment in the mail, from the Mae Sai immigration office, to extend my visa. Has anyone else received one lately? Or is this a first?

It's a very professional form letter. It shows my visa expiration date on April 4.

And they made an appointment for me on March 10 at their "one stop service" at Chiangrai Provincial Administrative Organization.

Or maybe it's a sneaky way to see if you're receiving mail at the address you gave them... and yes I am just joking ... I think.

I wonder if it's intended to direct traffic from the Mae Sai office to the new Chiang Rai branch?

That's what I thought. But, the header is a Mae Sai address.

I'm going to call them for clarification. And I'll post an update.
