george Posted March 3, 2004 Share Posted March 3, 2004 Drug trade - Woman confesses to selling cocaine BANGKOK: -- A 27yearold woman has confessed to selling cocaine at Bangkok nightclubs and apartment buildings, police said yesterday. Ratree Phaenphakwaen, from Nakhon Ratchasima’s Chokchai district, was caught in Huai Khwang with six plastic bags, each weighing six grams, said Police Colonel Pisit Proirungrot. Police also seized Bt5,000 in cash and a cell phone. Pisit said a second police team led by Pol Captain Samran Nuanma had learned that Ratree had contacts among Nigerian groups on upper Sukhumvit Road and delivered the drug by taxi to nightclub patrons, including young people. Samran’s squad set up a rendezvous and an agent bought Bt5,000 worth of cocaine from Ratree in the back of a vehicle.
