Hello

I am staying in Haad salad, koh phangan, until tuesday morning, theres a cat on my resort with 2 young kittens around 7 weeks... she is starting to call again, and the tom is answering her..

i really don't think she should have another litter so soon. I want her and the kittens to have the best chance possible, so they need spaying/neutering..

they are living in a cupboard underneath a hotel block, the door left open for them, so somebody knows about them but i'm not sure if they are being fed.

the mum is shy, i got close to her and stoked her, but i think this is because she is amorous and coming into season, the kittens wouldn't come near me... and entering the cupboard was not an option.

where is the nearest vet? i need help catching them!?

please please can someone help me, help them..

thanks

Hi

Just read your post, have you tried ''Googling'' ''Vets in Koh Phangan'' ???

or asking at the ''Hotel Reception'' if there is a local vet ..

Hopefully you will find a vet, kind of you to do what you are doing...

wish there was more people like you....

all the best

i tried googling it and i think the vet clinc isnt here anymore...

i've asked a few of the staff in the restaurant about the cats, figured i couldnt just take them without telling anyone..

but they deny the cat even exsists, will try asking at reception today..

i saw the female cat around the resort earlier but she wouldnt come near me, probably need to use ham to tempt her..

where could i find something to put her in?

thank you for your help

I had my cat spayed in December at the vet in Ban Tai for 1,200 baht. They do not collect AFAIK. She'll probably need to be caught and placed in a cage for the trip. I won't probably be able to catch her (lame leg), but if caged, I could drive her to the vet & bring back afterwards. I took my own cat in my backpack, but the cat you're talking about would probably go crazy and claw like mad inside the backpack.

i was told that PAC were coming to collected mum and kittens on the 5th or 6th of march...

I am back at the resort today and have found mum and kittens but in a different location... and one of the kittens has a cut on its shoulder, fur missing and what i think are bite marks....

I have emailed back asking if they ever did come and told them about the kitten along with a picture. I am worried i wont hear anything from them and i really want to help them...

their new home is around the pool under the decking, mum was very friendly towards me and i think it would be easy to catch them, i just dont have a box or basket and no clue where to take them....

please can someone help me!

i am spending all day here, in Haad Salad and i really want it sorted before i leave!

thanks
