Paying bills back home, website asking for paypal....

Featured Replies

Hi all, I have a slight predicament here. I need to pay a bill, its not much only 27 pounds but my UK account is empty at the moment. I need to pay a bill on line, so only I can do it because only I have the information but last week I tried to transfer money from thai bank to uk bank and was told I couldn't because I don't have a work permit, and western union won't send to a bank account either. The website asks for paypal but I haven't been able to find that here. Does anyone know how I can get round this problem. It has to be done this week unfortunately. All I want to do is send a bit of money home, it shouldn't be that hard but because I want to send it to a bank account, I have had no luck.

tx for the help

The website asks for paypal but I haven't been able to find that here.

Paypal is an online service (you never heard of them?).

see if you can do a swift wire transfer. will probably take a few days though.

cant find it here? Where have you been looking

paypal is everywhere. it is online.

if you have a credit card just open an account at paypal.com.

barring that give a friend with a and a paypal account the cash.

As for a wire transfer, you most certainly can transfer money, if you have a thai bank account that is.

failing all the of the above options, send a friend the cash via western union and have them pay the bill.

it really isnt that difficult a predicament

He was told he can't do a SWIFT transfer out of Thailand without a work permit. Why are people telling him he can when his bank told him he can't?
