Hello everyone-

What's the cheapest option for getting a Thai tourist visa if i'm leaving from Bangkok? Also,just to make sure, i won't have to pay a fee if i get my new visa on the same day my previous one expires right?

What exactly is being sought ?

A tourist visa can only be obtained from a Thai Embassy/Consulate in another country non of which offer a same day service.

Are you asking about going to an embassy or consulate to get a tourist visa? You have to always to pay a fee for that.

Or are you asking about going out for a new 30 day visa exempt entry and not having to pay an overstay fine if you leave on the last day?

You must leave Thailand, go to Lao , you pay visa fee's ( Check fee charge on T/Visa / Thai embassy site) take 2 days to complete visa process, down load your application from Thai embassy site ,P/Port photo's , other expense Lao border crossing at friendship bridge or airport , accom in Lao, meals etc

You can leave by land or air on the last day of your permit to stay from the visa exempt entry you got on entry and re-enter on the same day you want to with no fine or fees paid.

By land you will only get 15 days unless you are from a G7 country or one that has a bilateral agreement with Thailand.
