Non O for Non Married Couple

Featured Replies

Advice needed if you could be so kind,

I have a work permit and visa, for a two year working contract. My unmarried partner came with me last August on a triple entry tourist from UK. With border runs this grants him 9 months, which is nearly up.

My company has said that in the past they have managed to get unmarried partners on their employee's visa's which I think is a Non O, by writing a letter to support visa application from the company.

I know for a fact this has worked in the UK, and a 'trailing unmarried spouse' got an O Visa but does it work in any countries closer to Thailand?

Any help appreciated

Cheers

There is no possibility of this happening.

The partner would have to qualify for a personal visa or seek another means of staying

The most you could get at any nearby location might be a single entry non-o visa. I am not even sure you can even get that unless married.

Even getting it in the UK might be a problem now that they have to be approved at the embassy.

Age of your partner?

I am going to go out on a ledge but i am assuming that you are also male.

In the past the company may have been able to push (big push) for a spouse but in this country I would agrfee with everyone above.

Try for an Education visa and attend the Thai classes
