I am trying to come up with good solution to mark a "dropoff" in a fairly shallow pool so that bathers don't stumble off without knowing. Obviously this should have been thought during construction, oh well.

A floating line is clumsy so I am wondering about how to mark underwater. Could drain the water level low, but would like to minimize downtime for the pool.

Your suggestions welcome.
