Internal Trade department to organize “Blue Flag Market” on 3rd-4th of June

Director-General Siripol Yodmuangcharoen (ศิริพล ยอดเมืองเจริญ) said that the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Interior will organize a fair called “ Blue Flag Market” from June the 3rd and the fourth nationwide.

Mr Siripol recently chaired a meeting with large firms of consumer goods namely, Saha Pathanapibul Public Company Limited, Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited and Saha Farms Company Limited.

He said the main purpose of organizing such fair is to alleviate the burden of public and to reduce the cost of living by 20-40 percent. He said consumer goods and OTOP products will be sold in all provinces.

He added that ITD will distribute rice to flood stricken residents in the North and to residents in the three southern border provinces as well. Moreover, rice will be sold at cheaper prices which are about 50 percent lower than the market price.

Mr. Siripol said that the fair will be held at Supachalasai National Stadium for Bangkok residents to purchase cheap price products.
