Baht going down!
Not sure about other currencies, but this article suggest that the USD strength as of late appears to be the strong US jobs report last week. I've noticed the USD doing quite well against the THB these past few days. We were on the verge of going under 32, but now back over 33. Yes. As of tomorrow through the Thai e-visa portal. Depending on your location the application will either be processed in Hanoi or HCMC but you will not need to attend either the embassy or consulate. -

Thai Banks have to send TRD a list of all accounts where they've withheld interest, so yes, I do believe they send them a list of all customer accounts. They probably don't (currently) send inward deposits but again, that would take minutes to sort out.- 1
