Green Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 I had a bank transfer between banks in Bangkok which didn't come through. I have the receipt from my client, with a reference number from their bank, and I will go to my bank on Monday to check it, but do I need to check it or does my client have to do that? They said the money was deducted from their account, and the receipt says it was successful. I always immediately receive an sms when there is any activity on my account and this has never happened before as far as I know. Thanks
thepool Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Something as gone wrong ! Clearly the best place to begin is with your bank. However if investigation involves the other bank your client may need to be actively involved.
anotheruser Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 If you go to the bank and they say there is no money there it is pretty easy to verify. I am just joking but it happened to me over the weekend. Verify the funds where they are sent from and get tracking numbers.
CharlieH Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Its the senders responsibility, you havnt been paid, they should sort it out, but it wouldnt hurt for you to try to help. Do you think a hotel, airline, store, etc would say its their problem or yours if they didnt get paid.
