I'm using the "Mama WiFi" at my place in Ban Saan lalana on Chayaphruk Road between Sukhumvit and 2nd road in Jomtien, and it is terrible--either very slow or not working at all.

I want to get my own connection from 3BB or TOT--or whoever is best for that location. Does anybody know which company is best on this side of town, and where the office is located?

You have to ask around which provider people in your neighborhood use.

The 3BB office is in Big C Extra on the 2nd floor. And TOT is near the traffic lights Pattaya Klang and 3rd Road.

There's also a BBB office towards the top of Theprassit. Going towards Sukhumvit it's on the right hand side before you get to the night market area.

When I lived there many years ago, my provider was TOT. Not that fast and had a problem when the rain came down. But it was bearable considering that it is by Thai in Thailand!
