Today i saw a grafted red durian tree for sale on chatuchak plantmarket.

It costs 2000 baht and i have never seen one in Thailand, they grow on Borneo.

Don't know if there are any collectors here but this is something special that you won't find easy.

Certainly different; from what I read they are very small, (Palm size) mostly seed, don't know what they taste like.

I also have never seen those in real but they should sell this one at the or-tor-kor market in BKK. Even when they are not nice (no idea though) i'm sure they can be sold there because they look great and special.

If i was a farmer (or hand much land) i would grow something like this and many more foreign tropical fruits. Much easyier then growing rice or rubbertree's.
