Please can someone confirm to me if it is possible to obtain an ED VISA for my son that need to do in Phuket for Yacht Crew Job: STCW 2010 http://www.yachttraininginasia.com/STCW2010.htm

Where can I ask English speaking reply? The ministry of Education BKK can't reply in English.

Unless the school is registered with the MOE he would not be able to get an extension of stay.

But with proof of course enrollment and documents from school he could probably get a multiple entry ED visa in his home country.

Edit: Since course is only 6 day long he could easily do it on tourist visa or even a visa exempt entry. You do not need a ED visa to go to school.
