damole
Today is the last day for free debit card withdrawals from Metrobank. https://www.metrobankonline.co.uk/Personal/Bank-Accounts/CurrentAccounts/ There is nothing mentioned about credit cards so I guess I'll start using my credit card for paying my internet, shopping at bigger shops and wherever else accepts it charge free. I now have my new Halifax Clarity credit card which is foreign cash withdrawal fee free but does accumulate interest from the withdrawal date which I'm currently testing to see of making a payment towards the card account on the withdrawal date avoids the interest charge. --damole

damole
I was wrong about the Metrobank credit card, they also started charging from today. Sent from my i-mobile IQ X using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
SheungWan
Since I primarily took out an account with Metrobank for their security box facility, I will stay on in there, but I can see the rationale for switching to Halifax Clarity for cash withdrawals while their favourable terms last.
