I am sure one of you very knowledgeable people on here who visit the

IT shops regularly , is such a monitor available in Thailand, thats 1

monitor where i can connect 2 pcs to,(not to use at same time, but

to change over) or will my only option be a LED tv with 2 or 3 HDMI

outlets, 23 -28 inch ?

I got these small HDMI switchers from UK , 3 HDMI inlet and 1 outlet,

but they dont work, messes the monitor up, good job they were cheap

Googled the problem and it says need KVM switch, which are expensive,

half price of a monitor.

Thanks and kind regards Worgeordie

Is Bt1500 a deal breaker?

I use one of these to switch between the various A/V sources so I can save HDMI ports on the TV (I currently have five sources and only three HDMI ports on the telly).

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-port-High-Speed-3x1-HDMI-Auto-Switch-Selector-w-IR-Remote-FullHD-1080P-3D-V1-3-/151118892982?_trksid=p2054897.l4276

20 quid for a 3-Port.

Hi Chicoq, those are the same idea as the ones i have, but without the remote,

they will work with other HDMI devices but don't with the 2 pcs, ?

so looking for monitor with more than 1 HDMI connection, those other switches

i mentioned are 60/70 quid + and come with a right tangle of wires, trying to keep

it simple as possible.

Well I have a 32-inch Samsung LCD on my desk with two HDMI inputs, but for various reasons I don't use it as a monitor (I already have a Dell 27" on the laptop to give me extended monitor).

Are you planning to use a separate keyboard and mouse for each computer? Or are you planning to physically move the keyboard and mouse from one computer to the other? If not, you will need a keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) switch. Be careful to get the HDMI specification that matches the HDMI ports on your video cards. There several specifications out there. You can Google the HDMI specs. They're on Wikipedia.

Hi firefox999uk, Thats exactly the model I was just looking at on Invade IT site,

the price is right, then next question was going to be are AOC any good ?

so glad to hear you are happy with yours, and thanks for the heads up about

price at JIB, as InvadeIT s were 5,550 bht, so you will have saved me some

money, thanks a lot.

You can connect 2 pc to the monitor,(but not use at same time obviously) ?

Thanks and kind regards Worgeordie

Geordie there is a button on the monitor to let you choose which hdmi

Input to use, hdmi 1 or hdmi 2 so it seems that’s what you’re looking for.

AOC monitors are quite good…the first monitor I ever got, a 14” CRT, was

An AOC but that was back in the early 90s…the beauty about the new one is that it has a IPS panel

that is only usually found on more expensive models.

Sad to say that I’ve just looked on JIB web site and can not find this model

listed any more, but they may have it in the JIB shops…good luck
