Metro Police Bureau bust guns and drugs throughout Bangkok

The Metropolitan Police Bureau organized a large force and conducted operations throughout Bangkok, with intent on resolving old narcotics and gun cases in order to bestow as a gift to His Majesty the King.

Police Lt. General Virote Jantrangsee (วิโรจน์ จันทรังษี), commander of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, hosted the deployment of crime suppression officers before His Majesty's 60th ascension anniversary ceremony. Units include patrol cars from the 1rst - 9th Special Operations Division, Traffic Division, the Volunteer Community police, and the municipal police. Police Lt. General Virote reminded the 22,000 officers to put their hearts and body to their duty.

Police Lt. General Virote added that the next few days will see a resolution of old guns and narcotics cases to be bestowed as a gift on the event of His Majesty's 60th ascension anniversary.
