lifemagic
Made my last Metrobank withdrawel Saturday, applied for the Halifax clarity card online same day. I use my nieces UK address, I ?think? I'm on the electoral register but live here on a lump sum. No Halifax current account, though I have a Halifax share account (about ten K). On the online form I put down 'self employed' and earnings as 26k (I wish!). Approval took about twenty seconds and an email came to say it was in the post (to my niece's address). Hopefully she'll forward it at some point and I can report on the cost of using it.
damole
I've had my Clarity card about 2 weeks and have been using it to purchase good/services and have also made one cash withdrawal. I made a payment to the card account from my current account the same day in the hope that this will avoid any interest charges. The balance reflects this payment but I'm still waiting until my statement date in a few weeks to be sure that no interest has been charged. --damole
davejones23
I might apply for this, as I only have one credit card and would like a back-up for emergencies.
lifemagic
I'm quite good at paying my bills on time, and my understanding is the card is 'almost' free to use. Will be interesting. The only thing is receiving is as I've probably got to use post restant at the gpo.
