i have a visa debit kasikorn. i want to withdraw all monies from my kasikorn account, i was in thailand recently and my friends needed gbp changed into baht so if say the best bank was giving say 53.5 i would give them 54 to GBP.

i didnt get enough money changed though. if i use my card here in uk, what will i lose, say basing the rate 53 to the pound. bank charges from kasikorn and other charges what would they be ?

From Kasikorn website;

- Withdrawals via ATMs abroad***

- Baht 100 per transaction

- Fee from changes in exchange rate is

not over than 2.5 per cent.

*** Not include transaction fee charged from the bank owned ATMs.

Exactly what it means you'll end up paying is anyone's guess.
