Six Sigma Online Course & Certification

Recommended Posts

I am looking for recommendations from those of you who have undertaken and experienced positively an online e-learning source for Six Sigma qualifications and certification?

There are heaps of "so called" sites offering these services, but a referral and recommendation with a proven validity is what I am looking for?

Much obliged.

What is the purpose of you doing such a course?

Basically I come from a Sales/Marketing/Business Development, Regional Management fields, I want to expand my potential by acquiring a formally recognised manufacturing/process management platform.

Do you have a business-related post-graduate degree and are you basically at a loose end in Thailand for now?

No I don't have a formal qualification by way of a degree. I forged the foundation of my career via vocational education . Then quickly move up the managerial ladder working primarily for Fortune 500 companies over the past 30 years.

Yes, I am taking a break right now to evaluate matters, but I am far from being at 'a loose end'

IMHO 6-Sigma is a short course you might do as a part of your staff development from within a specific company employment. It is not going to add much to your CV if that is what you have in mind. The missing piece of jigsaw is a formal academic qualification. If you have extensive managerial experience then you might be able to secure admission directly on to an MBA degree. If you want something primarily online and regional based then consider a distance learning MBA with the Open University of Hong Kong.
