WHAT I THINK ABOUT THAIVISA FORUMS? USE THEM? FOR WHAT?

- Is ok, fun reading, useful sometimes when I need to know where.. how.. ...for farangs to do/go in Thailand..

(My husband thinks he doesn't need google, because his wife knows everything, so here I come)

At first, I use ThaiVisa for practicing my English skills,

but now use also for general infos within Thailand, sometimes outbound too)

Get 1 very-closed friend from here, but I have not much time for meetup, I rarely drink also.

- I am person who like to learn new knowledge all the times, I love traveling too,

to know person from the another side of the world always interests me, diff. culture,diff. practice, especially diff thinking.

WHAT DO i THINK ABOUT FARANG?

- Farang was an alien for me before, thats because I was to shy and was poor in English.

And I was lack of confidence because I thought of Farangs as the intellectual ethics, I considered from a lot of new inventions Farangs created.

- But after getting known Farangs, by their life-style, by spending time with, by also my travelings.

My English has been also improved, Farang nowadays is ordinary, there are both good and bad persons.

I see no different to Thais.

I know Thai is only allowed in the Thai language forum. But, isn't it kind of silly (and condescending) to address Thai members, using Thai / English transcription.

They probably know more English than you do.

I can assure you there are, and of those that I know, their English skills are better than mine and most of the other posters who have just learnt to walk without the aid of their hands.

Glad to know some Thai people are on this forum. Hopefully they realize a lot of us just need a place to vent, and mean no harm. My guess is that many of us have a great deal of affection, love, and respect for the Thai people. Personally I adore most Thais. I think they have some remarkable qualities. Yes, they are so different from us. Sometimes this place feels like another planet. And sometimes that is a big source of frustration. But that is part of what I love about it. I wake up every day and am really glad to be here. The Thai people are a big part of that, for me.

Got here by randomly searching for how foreigners think of Thailand and Thai people.

I don't usually comment but I do read quite often, get offended by some negative generalizations which are not 100% truth, sad for the those who have been harmed or taken advantages of by some Thais, and happy to see some good perspectives about this country.

I signed up in the hope that I could give some useful insight, perspective or advice as a local.. though I haven't had the chance to do that since I've been busy with my studies.
