Popular Post djjamie
This OP does not surprise me. 3 days out from yingluck having to defend herself from negligence charges which are undoubtable justified was always going to stir the terrorists hornets nest. Some might say this is a normal reaction to the independent agencies perceived bias towards the PTP. Well in a way that is true. Not the reaction, but the courts bias. They have always been biased towards criminal activity and have always through facts and evidence shown that bias, as have courts all over the world. Well done for some on TVF for highlighting this bias. As I stated previously, one must fear the supporters of savages more than the savages themselves for they are the fuel that keep the dictatorial fire burning (no pun intended) They justify the terroristic actions of vigilantly mobs and armed militia roaming the streets threatening to loot, steal fuel and burn Bangkok if the courts that are biased towards criminals don't absolve the guilty while at the same time spouting words like "anti-democratic" and "coup mongers" which are in fact more at home describing the tendencies of the PTP. These people that defend the savages stand on a mantel of self righesness preaching democracy while the party they support are only 1/15 democratic. They defend breaking all the other principles of democracy so they can adhere to one. That is confusing to say the least. Arguments that some posters have stated justifying terrorism use words like "actions have consequences" and "create a backlash". These are the same words that terrorist supporters have used previously to sanction terror and death of innocent people. Some excuses like "sanctions imposed against Iraq" and "presence of US military in Saudi Arabia" and "Support of Israel by the USA" are all excuses used to justify 9/11 buy some other terrorist supporters. This is no different here. They had there warped ideals to justify terrorism. The UDD supporters are following a very well worn path. I have stated previously, but until today after reading one particular comment, have I seen such a dangerous example that the slide into fanatical fundamentalism is a slow yet very pronounced progression where before you know it your are defending terrorists and abdicating violence in misguided beliefs that you think you are right while everyone else is wrong. Lets hope this latest threat by the terrorists is addressed accordingly by yingluck or at least the PTP and the culprits held to account as a sign for others that the rule of law must be respected left this country slide into an abyss that some think is justified. There is no justification or excuse to abdicate the kidnapping of judges. Shame shame shame. I pity some and hope they get the help they so obviously and urgently need. Scamper
Yesterday's dismantling of the army barrack protecting the NACC was the turning point - the point at which the narrative from now on becomes clear. Today's follow up to that was to be anticipated. And now there seems no question that such provocative moves will increase rather than decrease. The narrative has been clarified by revealing the strategy of the UDD. It is two-fold. The first and foremost one is that they want the NACC stopped. Period. The second is that they want to provoke the army into action. Neither objective has ( yet ) been achieved. The NACC has not been stopped, and the army has clearly been ordered to stand down. In other words, things are not what Jataporn and Nuttawut want. So these provocations will likely increase in intensity and in daring. By going after members of the NACC through red shirt radio, the UDD is employing a tactic they have so often used in the past - create a narrative that incites anger, and broadcast it en masse through radio. Today's action is only the latest of a history of what real damage red shirt radio - far more extreme that people realize - has done and can do. Those who commandeer these broadcasts should come now come under legal scrutiny. It is one thing to issue propaganda through the airwaves. It is quite another to incite people towards launching a " manhunt " for commissioners of a constitutionally empowered judicial agency. In terms of the army, at some point Prayuth will have to push back. If the NACC is ever physically threatened, that would likely be the point. He is sworn to protect the constitution and the institutions of the constitution.

Popular Post Pimay1
If Yingluck does not make a public statement by tomorrow evening denouncing and condemning this planned lawlessness act then there is only one conclusion to be drawn. By her silence she becomes complicit. Silence implies consent.

northernjohn
Red democracy at work.. Shin dictatorship shows his ugly head again. If you make decisions against us we will hunt you down. Violence seems the only thing the reds are good at.. usually the way of uneducated people.. makes me wonder about the farangs like moonao and fab who support the reds.. about moonao there is no doubt actually. Beating up monks Gunning down children and throwing grenades at them in Trad Grenades at NACC headquarters Now hunting them down. Clearly the reds thrive on corruption, if they were not corrupt the NACC could not touch them. You forgot binjalin and rich teacher. Wouldn't surprise me if one of them was Calgaryll he was a real loose canon. I wonder what they expect the police to do with them once they have hunted them down. Maybe putt them in a cell and have Yingluck come in there to defend her self. I really honestly and truly thought they couldn't get any worse when they appointed the court jester to be the emperor. But I think Jatuporn might have met his match.

northernjohn
1. Somehow I doubt that the NACC leaders would allow themselves to be caught in a situation whereby 6 of their commissioners don't have the required endorsements etc. 2. Given the events of the last few months I suspect that the NACC will be ready to move it's operations to another location with little disruption. 3. I suspect this sort of threat will just make the NACC even more determined to get on with their work. It for sure is not going to make Yingluck look good to them. I would have thought the red shirts would have rolled out a red carpet for her and strewn rose petals for her when she made her entrance. Wouldn't surprise me if they could find other charges against her. She is to dumb to jknow that antagonizing them is not doing her any good. Fat Haggis
It's sensationalism, Michael Yon posted similar contents on his FB pages in that he asked for the PDRC supporters to hunt down the leadership of the PTP/UDD , to fin out where they lived, where they ate, whom they met, with whom they associated.. it's a very dangerous step to take..He posted this 2-3 months ago. Whatever it's a stupid route to go down for any side, but I do think a lot of this has been lost in translation, hunt down is far more dramatic than trying to locate them, it's the same thing, only using the word "hunt" it becomes more aggressive. The coming weeks in Thailand are going to be quite "interesting" it seems the ante has been stepped up.
gabruce
He said that, as of April 1, the red shirts would launch a manhunt against them and would catch them on sight and then hand them over to the police. Sornrak also announced that the red-shirt followers would today bring in concrete barriers to be put at the rear gates of the NACC’s office which will completely seal off the office that no one would enter the premise without prior authorization from them. The monk beaters are going start kidnapping NACC members and forcibly confining them. I'm sure Tarit will not tolerate this, I anticipate charges being laid against the NACC very soon. Well, at least this time it isn't a call to bring them in "dead or alive" like the previous call to get the daughters of the general "dead or alive". Indeed an auspicious date for the commencement of the campaign to capture ''fake government officials.'' monkeycountry
These people are just animals. Hell even lower than cockroaches. With what right can they "hunt down" people and deliver them to the police that are not even wanted by the police. They are becoming more vigilante by the day. I just hope I never run into them as I am known for not keeping my mouth shut when I have too Shame, "They should come because popcorn vendors have made popcorn for them," Suthep said "Natthawut Saikuar and Jatuporn Promphan should really come … I don't know these popcorn vendors but I really love them." “In the future your child maybe an orphan and he will be cursed… then ai Nong Pipe, your child, will have no one else to look after for sure. His father may dispute it and not be daring enough to look after him because he won’t know whose child it is” Yep, some people are lower than cockroaches...................... "“In the future your child maybe an orphan and he will be cursed… then ai Nong Pipe, your child, will have no one else to look after for sure. His father may dispute it and not be daring enough to look after him because he won’t know whose child it is” " I remember that quote, and just like the last time I saw it, you (or one of your fellow red shirt supporters), left out a quite important part of the quote, namely the part where it is said that the child would be orphaned because the mother would be in jail, ie not dead. Of course, when leaving out that small part, the quote looks like a threat to illegally murder the mother and not legally ensuring she goes to jail - quite a difference would you not agree? I admit I am too lazy to find the full quote, but I know you are good at that, so feel free to find and post the entire quote, and not just bits taken out of context
