The pros and cons of having an upper class Thai girlfriend or wife

Thoughts?

I only associate with the upper classes here in Thailand. I tend to avoid the local peasantry. I find them crude, ill-mannered and vulgar.

Assuming that you too have an upper class wife or girlfriend, what are (or were) your experiences?

1. Did you encounter jealousy or resent from other westerners?

2. What reaction do you get from upper class Thai men and women?
