It looks to be a very nice phone but 16900 ain't cheap.

Interesting that the "Made In Japan" slogan seems to be a big selling point, lol.

I still haven't figured out where the I-Mobiles are made? Thailand or China?

I'll buy anything with a battery that lasts a day

i bought a galaxy s4 and a extended battery,7500MaH which is basically just under 3 normal batteries stuck together with a bigger back case to accomodate ,only needs charged about twice a week although it doesnt make the phone look sexy or sleek :)

it looks like a copy of the htc one genre of phones ,well overpriced coming from a budget company like i-mobile though

for 17k id want a name brand samsung ,htc ,sony ,lg .lenovo, nokia etc

apart from being waterproof the spec is pretty last year as well ,sell it for 8-10k and id consider it ,,,,,,maybe

Yepp.

And add a completely out of date Android version, which will most likely (since it is an i-mobile) never receive an upgrade to 4.4.x. or higher.

Pretty overpriced (like many of the newer i-mobile phones, considering their low specs)

This phone should be in the ~10-12k range.

And even this is much money for a "no-name" phone with a vaguely update policy.

i-mobile phones were amazing spec for the value last year

still ok but looks a lot like theyre getting greedy and trying to match their pricing/spec

to the lower tier of the top manufacturers like acer etc

by all accounts im sure its still a good phone but for that price or less i would just get a Samsung s4

or a HTC one or a note 3 or any of the best phones of 2013 .......that all have loads of custom roms and software hacks i can install

16,900 for an i-mobile with a 13mg camera is more than a bit lavish in q2 of 2014 ,same money look what else there is now:

17,200 for a 32GB note 3 : http://www.mirakar.com/detail_product.php?IDPro=14746

13,700 for an s4 : http://www.mirakar.com/detail_product.php?IDPro=14035

15,400 for Sony Z1 : http://www.mirakar.com/compare.php?IDPro=14545

15,900 for HTC Butterfly : http://www.mirakar.com/detail_product.php?IDPro=12588

i think they will be forced to half that price to sell them ,made in japan sticker means nothing to me

Yes I have a slide on Power Bank on my iphone. Was hoping for more power under the hood without the need for superchargers

I am intrigued by the 4 LTE part?...

lte is 4g speeds

its just marketing/ error in traslation etc

the big question is whos going to pay 17k for an underspecced no name mobile whether it made in japan or not .........

make it in china ,cut the price in half and then maybe it might sell a few units ...........

  • 2 weeks later...

No one will actually pay 17k.. It will be 10k in MBK in no time.

Source?

Or just wishful thinking?

If it's too expensive, people won't buy it will they.

ferrari ,lamborghini ,maserati ,gucci ,versace, rolex ,apple etc and many others may disagree

but that phone is pretty crap ,even for 10k never mind 17k coming from china but "now made in japan" :)
