Pipe Tobacco in CRai

Featured Replies

Anyone know where to buy decent smoking tobacco in Chiang Rai city? I heard there was a place near Da Vinci's restaurant, but haven't been able to find it.

Thanks

They could mean the Deli down the laneway next to Davinci's.

I'd be inclined to have a look around the main day market, that general area.

If you go down the back of the next market building, heading north and crossing the street from the main building, (where the hills tribe women sell their vegetables) you will find large amounts of loose tobacco for sale.

I have no idea whether it would be suitable for pipe smoking though.

There are two places you could try...

One is a small shop in the Night Bazaar Soi, it's about 40m in there (Kodak on the corner) on the right. It's not open at night.

The Other is about 40-50m from the Doi Chang Coffee corner heading towards da Vinci on the right. It's an off-license selling booze too.

Was at my in laws on Monday and they had shitloads of loose tobacco hanging up in the shed .

Try the night market lane mentioned.

They have odd bits....I bought a hip flask there.....and they definitely sell pipes.
