Baidu Spark New Browser

Featured Replies

Still using Windows XP on my trusted laptop and was looking at Firefox and Chrome browsers instead of IE.

But then came across Baidu, never heard of it before?

Any other members using it, good or bad reports?

Cheers Boycie

That'll be the Baidu that is responsible for the iE, FF, Chrome, etc toolbar that requires a special tool to remove it. Baidu is the massive internet search engine in China.

Instead of Baidu check out SR Ware Iron the "google" free version of Chrome.

Still, it is your call and I have nothing massively against Baidu per-se. It is just that I have only had negative experiences of it and I think "oh god tech newbie" when I see it installed on somebody's computer (and then quickly remove it without asking as I have never had a "Oh yes, that's excellent" in reply to my "do you use this"?).

Avoid Baidu at all costs. Nothing but problems.

Many thanks for all the feedback. Was using Baidu yesterday to download some youtube content. Found it very easy to do with their Media button, as i'm not the best with these plug in typewriters.xwacko.png.pagespeed.ic.jGW10VtQsI.png

Just clicked on Download for the SRWave Iron and i'll use that as my main browser thumbsup.gif

The security of new untested browsers, would be my main worry
