Criminal court to hear request to send Jatuporn and Nattawut back to prison

But today both redshirt leaders designated their lawyers to seek permission to put off the hearing until May 8, reasoning that they were sick and not able to make court appearance today.

Chicken flu

So they want to put their appearance off for 20 days, no good, they will never get cowardice out of the system.

" But today both redshirt leaders designated their lawyers to seek permission to put off the hearing until May 8, reasoning that they were sick and not able to make court appearance today. "

This may very well be the reason why the UDD rally yesterday was called off. And it seems that there won't be one until May 8 as that is the day both Jatuporn and Nattawut are certain they'll be better - or at least better enough to arrange another rally and defy their bail conditions further. But this charge stemming from the infamous UDD rally of February 23 is certain to stick with them from now on. It is all on tape. And it included a UDD platform that both endorsed - a platform that included secession, calling into question the legitimacy of the independent agencies of legal checks and balances, and a readiness for ten million Thais to arm themselves with guns. If those don't break their bail conditions, nothing will.

Well, if they are both sick at the same time (what a coincidence, right? maybe they caught the same sickness as the Red Bull kid. Maybe they have to go to Hong Kong to get treatment) then they can't very well give their hate speeches. At least they are silenced for now, though I hear they can get decent medical treatment in custody seeing as how they have influential backers. They are also living what they preach: disrespect for the courts. I have to give them credit for that. If I was a judge who got stood up by these two I would really have a hard time being impartial. BTW, how do both of these guys, who are sick at the same time with an illness so bad they can't even show up in court, know that they will both be well enough to attend court on May 8? I think both these guys are just pretending to be sick; don't you?

If the bail of the two criminals would be revoked Thailand may have a chance not to see another arsonist calling for burning down Bangkok or other bloodsheds looming (Just listening at the CAPO arguments, the same as saying big brother in Exile....we are not treated fair (in their minds fair is meaning to go free).

Finally somebody got the guts to make a petition

You have to give them the benefit of the doubt Ram HongKong Flu is rampant at the moment not to mention Brownoseitis can spread from one source and of course Foot in Mouth disease seems to be the flavor of the month.........cut them some slack

again the stalling of justice, this is all the ptp/reds know, how to put it all off so they can run away like their boss. These red terrorists need to be denied their bullsh*t excuse and made to pay for what they have done or justice will not be served at all. Its time the people of Thailand were able to rely on the courts to treat everyone equal not on how wealthy they are.

What a bunch of Hypocrites, Suthep has been flouting the laws and the courts for years, and you sit at your keyboards and piss and moan about the Red's and PTP, like I said HYPOCRITES. GET A GRIP.

Suffering from the flu in Singapore are we? I am sure the prison doctor will be able to sort them out.

Court rejects Jatuporn, Nattawut plea /Bangkok Post

AWESOME!!!!!!

Now they only got a few hours to get their sick and sorry ass-s to the court or face a certain arrest warrant for contempt, oh and that would be a clear breech of bail.... failure to surrender to the court.

Now what is going to be the next move I wonder???......... abscond from justice??????

That would make the government look good wouldn't it? One of their ministers on the run while in office....... cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

What a great day/.

To be absolutely fair, neither of them wanted to violate their bail conditions....but the money was just too good.

The court reasoned they don't need to be in court during witness hearings.

Even better.....

Means they now can't argue a defense and the court should conclude within hours.

Remember, they also declared war against the courts during their Korat rally. I am sure that will impress the court judges.

Bad news for the redshirt leaders even if their excuse was as believable as the dog ate my homework.

The good news of course is that with their support falling and apparently no funds forthcoming to rent a crowd they won't be needed to organise any red rallies for a while. thumbsup.gif

BANGKOK: -- The Criminal Court rejected request of two redshirt leaders Jatuporn Promphan and Nattawut Saikua to put off hearing today of a petition seeking to withdraw their bail bonds to May 8.

The court reasoned that it was unnecessary to have their court appearance to hear testimonies and therefore the hearing must go ahead.

It then proceeded the hearing of testimonies given by three witnesses of the petitioner and set 3.00 p.m. today to hand down a verdict if the bail bonds granted them temporary release should be revoked as called for by the former Democrat MP petitioner.

If the ball bonds are withdrawn, both Jatuporn and Nattawut will be sent back to prison.

Both were on temporary release on bail after being charged of terrorism in connection with the 2010 bloody anti-government riot.

The Democrat petitioner accused them of breaching that bail conditions for addressing rallies of the redshirts that were tantamount to inciting disorders, and violence.

Unlike a physical illness or a bodily injury mental sickness is easy to fake although in the case of the two accused one can but only presume they are mentally ill.crazy.gif.pagespeed.ce.dzDUUqYcHZ.gif

You presume that they're mentally ill because...........?......................or is it just because you disagree with what they represent. That kind of reasoning could in itself be cause for worry - an unhealthy obsession with and denigration of, people you don't agree with, but have never met or reacted with in any way, might itself be a manifestation of mental illness. Just saying.

Fair point - they don't appear to have a history of mental illness. A history of inciting violence, lying and terrorism, well, that's for the court to decide. As is whether they broke their conditions of bail.

Do they have bad colds, flu, virus, bad stomachs, infections etc? Are they receiving medical treatment? Perhaps they have a selective re-occurring debility like YL and her come and go bad ankle? Or there again maybe they are simply lying and stalling for time. Got to go to HK and report to the boss this weekend. Bit difficult if banged up.

Wonder where their passports are? Wonder where they physically are?

Jatuporn was talking merrily to the Press yesterday. Suddenly he's ill for 3 weeks and not even admitted to hospital. If the judges believe this excuse, then I would love to do business with them as private citizens.

Criminal Court rejects petition for Nuttawut, Jatuporn's bail revocation

BANGKOK: -- The Criminal Court decided Friday not to revoke bail of Jatuporn Promphan and Nuttawut Saikuar, two red-shirt leaders, as petitioned by the Democrat Party.

The court reasoned that there were no strong evidence and witness to back up allegations by the Democrat that Jatuporn, chairman of the United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship, and Nuttawut, incited violence during the recent rally in Nakhon Ratchasima.

The court, anyway, warned the two red-shirt leaders to be careful when organising or making speeches during future rallies.

Unbelievable the excuses these REDS use to stall and subvert justice. If the courts had any balls they would add to their violating bond a failure to appear and let these guys go see the prison doctor.

I wonder how much they were paid?

Must have been a nice amount.

Ah well...... You probably just signed the fate of Thailand into a civil war..... well done.

You had the chance to stop it and elected to feed your greed instead.
