jackoholly
I am currently looking for a school to study Thai language, hopefully to a good standard. Is there any recommendation on country best for applying for this sort of visa? Has anyone had any experience of doing this in Hong Kong? Thank you in advance Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand
jackoholly
Apologies, I'm holding a British passport and I am currently in my first week of a 3 entry (6 month) tourist visa. Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand
ubonjoe
Not sure about Hong Kong because we do not get many reports for there. I suggest either Penang Malaysia or Vientiane Laos to get your visa. There will be no hurry for you to get the visa because you can attend school with a tourist visa entry.
jackoholly
Thank you, have you yourself obtained the visa yourself? Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand
ubonjoe
No but have read many many reports of the visa being obtained. I just gave you the two best nearby locations. Vientiane if you are in the northern part of the country and Penang for the south. KL Malaysia does not do them. PP Cambodia takes 4 days unless you use an agent. The others are next day service. Mario2008
The school itself should be able to advise you. They know where to send you with the most success for their school and the right kind of documents required at that particular consulate.
jackoholly
Great, thank you very luch. I have already posted another question in the relevant section but do you have any recommendation on a good school in Bangkok for a genuine and eager learner? Ozzieeg
Penang was very easy. I did it in August 2012. No hassle. Bring it one day and pick up the next and it was not very busy that time.
jackoholly
I'm just staying clear altogether of KL. I hear they are very awkward people. Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand
