Those political spectrum will include organizations that are trying to amend the 2008 constitution, including the Nationwide Ceasefire Coordination Team (NCCT), the United Nationalities Alliance (UNA) and the National League for Democracy (NLD).
The meeting will aim at disseminating the knowledge on the charter change on a wider scale, increasing the cooperation among proponents of charter amendments and holding the talks between the UNA, the NCCT and the 88 Generation Group. Members of the PNCR from the four corners will be invited to discuss the facts and preparations for the meeting. The main focus is to enhance the cooperation to push for amending the Constitution, said Myo Yan Nang Thein.
The PNCR will convene a meeting with its members throughout the country at Dhammapiya monastery in Tingangyun Township, Yangon on May 10 and 11.
