BTS Start Times

Featured Replies

Hello all.

Does the BTS start time (Sukhumvit Line) of 6am mean that the first train leaves Mo Chit at 6am or are there trains already stationed along the line so as to minimize wait times? My friend has to be at On Nut to pick up a visa run transport between 06.30 and 06.45 and will go from Victory Monument, so will she have enough time to make it?

Thanks.

yes, can do. There are NO trains waiting and starting somewhere, all start from the Mochit terminal, but the first one lvs so early, that it reaches the other side, Baering, just before 6.00. Since a few weeks also most stations are open before 6.00- BUT not all boothes are staffed, so come with enough coins to pay fare=42 THB.

BUS 38 also runs Mochit-Vict.Monum-Asoke-all along Sukh till Bang Na and on. Starts from 4.00 early, has old normal buses=8 bt and 2nd hand yellow ex SING buses-14 or 16 bt or so.

OP has also started an identical topic in the Bangkok forum here
