I received a question from a friend and I'm not sure about the ruling about this.

Even the immigration officers are not on one line about this and i cant find the official ruling.

If a person has the 30 day under consideration period extension when he applied for a extension based on marriage is it possible to get a 7 day extension.

He wants to leave the country but returns a few days after the under consideration period ends and therefore wants to get the 7 days.

He cannot get a 7 day extension because the under consideration period does not have a permit to stay date.. The stamp only has a report back date.

It is possible to get a re-entry permit for the under consideration period up to the report back date.

Unless his immigration office is willing to change the report back date their is nothing that can be done. The police order also states that 30 days is the maximum that can be given beyond the existing permit to stay date while they consider the application.

There is no 7 day extension. 7 days are given as an under consideration of an application.

You cannot get an extra under consideration while you are already under consideration.

One might be able to get a 7 day under consideration when the original application is denied.
