I have removed my previous avatar about 2 hours ago, after that cleaned browser cache and cleaned up disk.

Restarted computer, tried to upload new avatar from file and old avatar reappears.

So 5 hours and several pc restarts later, the issue is still the same. When I upload a new avatar from a file on my computer, the old avatar, who isn't even stored on my HDD, appears again.

Thanks for the help so far.

This is a common problem and nearly always because of an ISP caching issue. It can be as long as a week or longer before the ISP cache gets refreshed with the new data so just need to wait a while.

I have noticed when i have changed mine, it takes a couple of days to be seen, and i panic but then it rectifies.

Now it gets interesting.

In this thread my old avatar is still visible,

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/723328-thai-opposition-urges-pm-to-resign-refuses-to-back-poll/?p=7769951

but in another thread my new avatar is online

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/723124-fresh-produce-prices-skyrocket-inflation-reaches-new-high/?p=7769941

So I doubt this has anything to do with my ISP.

Now all posts changed back to my old (removed ) avatar.

My ISP must have a lot of influence on Thaivisa whistling.gif
