The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives follows sufficiency economy principles in doing its business

The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) will use His Majesty the King’s sufficiency economy theory in running its business.

Caretaker Deputy Finance Minister Varathep Rattanakorn (วราเทพ รัตนากร) said BAAC is implementing the sufficiency village project to mark the King’s 60th anniversary of his reign. Mr. Varathep said staff of the bank and clients have supported farmers in each village to practice the sufficiency economy theory so they could rely on themselves financially.

He said BAAC gives priority to helping farmers improve their quality of life and not making big profits.
