So weird situation, in Korea you need to have a degree or you can not get a teaching visa. My replacment has a degree from a good uni in Canada. But she is in Thialand now and the degree is at home locked in a storage facility that only she has a key to. So how does one go about buying a degree in Bangkok? If she gave them the Uni staionary could they re create a degree that looks authentic. They are really strict in Korea so I would bet they would have degrees to compare with.

So I just did a search and came up with a lot of my own answers, so I guess the next question is has anyone had a real degree issued and sent out to them in Thailand??

That s a bit tricky.

She would have to contact the uni and ask for transcripts.

That s the only way (as far as I ve researched).

But bying a degree is a NO NO NO situation.

It used to work a few years back but not anymore.

But if she has good credentials she can get away with it.

Only thing is she won t get a work permit.

It is generally understood, for good reason, that buying a degree is probably an illegal activity in itself, and passing it off as genuine would be fraud.
