Suthep and Chumpol will face terrorism charges on top of sedition charges

BANGKOK: -- The public prosecution has decided to indict protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban and 42 core members of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee with sedition charges in connection with their anti-government activities.

On top of the sedition charges, Mr Nanthasak Poonsuk, director-general of Special Cases Office, said Thursday that Mr Suthep and Mr Chumpol Julasai would face an addition of terrorism charge.

He went on saying that the public prosecution had indicted, in a separate case, Mr Sonthiyarn Chuenruthainaitham and Mr Sakolthee Patthiyakul, PDRC core members, with sedition charges.

As for five academics who took to the stage of the PDRC to make speeches, Mr Nanthasak said that they would face charges of supporting the rebellion.

Meaning nothing unless the police have the balls to go bring him in to face the charges. At least YL face the court. What about you Suthep?

At long last, he is made to answer for all his wrong doings, Thailand is a joke when lip service is used, hopefully now they will do something to get him to answer for all his past crimes

Well if the police are not even interested in catching YL's friends throwing hundreds of grenades killing and maiming innocent citizens by the truckload, I doubt they even care about Suthep. They would become confused about the meaning of terrorism.

Terrorist: a person representing ordinary citizens who are bombed into oblivion.

Good

..... no more challenges to those who ordered the Burning of Bangkok.

He hasn't gut the guts to face his charges. Yingluk is more of a man than this slimy little worm will ever be.

Yingluk probably got was coming to her and she took it like man. Suthep is a coward.

Will the Special Cases Office also be going after those red-leaders, who openly call for an armed & independent Peoples' Democratic Republic of Lanna, or are those somehow less divisive or offensive ? wink.png

No Double standards ! facepalm.gif

Let's get this straight. This is an administration that won't respect the Constitutional Court's ruling. Chalerm won't budge. Surapong won't budge. And yet they expect to heap charges upon charges on everyone else - including academics - yes, academics - for speaking on a stage. The charge ? Supporting a rebellion.

Pheu Thai is no longer a party. It's a basket case.

I thought to qualify for terrorist, you had to fire RGPs at fuel storage tanks, hotels, blow up power pylons feeding a major metropolitan area or fire grenades into crowds of innocent citizens, time, after time, .......

Well, TIT. :)

It will be a whole lot longer before his case actually goes to court if the 4 years of waiting for numerous Red Shirts facing the exact same charges are any indication.

:coffee1:

Someone have to stop this Yellow Fascists and their sponsors now immediately.

They are not only dangerous for Thailand they are it also for neighbour countries and so the ASEAN.

Just to remember the temple dispute against cambodia.

Hope the naive mob will realise this before they blow again in a silly whistle.

Didn't Mr. T's ex-foreign minister start the temple problem by signing a paper he had no authority to do.

No authority ? Now where have we heard that before ?

The words "democracy" and "peace" have been redefined with a perverted meaning by the Thaksinistas. Now they have twisted and redefined the word "terrorism". Utterly ridiculous and detestable. bah.gif

Read the headlines, genius. Suthep and his gang plan to invade government offices so they can install their own 'government', lay siege to TV stations, clog up streets, use their guards to hurt people, and conduct countless 'final battles'. It sounds like a little more than 'speaking on a stage'.

seems Thailand is confused about the word terrorism. hes killed no one - where as Juthaporn and Thida have - they should be facinbg that charge NOT Suthep whos only crime is to have thrown egg in the face of Thaksin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A grave sin to the square faced one!!

Lets get this straight genius - plan to does not make a crime. They need Suthep out the way because they think he is the only one who will stand for their red shirt shananigins - they have a lot to learn about the 10s of millions who will not stand for red opression and violence and scamming any more!

Lets see how many that naive mob are on Saturday - lets seehow many will no longer stand for the lying, cheating, manipulating and corruption of the Shinawatras and their rancid bunch of thugs!!

She had no choice.................her daddy from Dubai stood her in the firing line!!!

Very fitting.

Both sides have planned and conducted illegal 'shananigins'.

It doesn't take a genius to know that Suthep (and the red shirts) are hurting the country. And blind, foreign fanatical posters, who take either side, are just smelly gas in the wind.

At long last, he is made to answer for all his wrong doings, Thailand is a joke when lip service is used, hopefully now they will do something to get him to answer for all his past crimes

So if we take the UDD and PTP as an example ... they will ALL be offered jobs as MP's!

you missed out the word EVENTUALLY

I guess you can say the same for the people you are biased against

EVENTUALLY after this mess is all other they will face the courts

The you will be happy

Don't just say it. Take them away so people can live their lives normally.

Yes Suthep is responsible for some collateral damage, the same way chemo damages the body to destroy the cancer. It hurts but it is the only hope we have to stop the Cancer to spread and stop it before Thailand dies.

You can say what you like about Khun Suthep and Chumpol, but one thing they did do was bring to the nation and the international community attention the corrupt PTP and the nepotism that exist in the corridors of power, they where a dismal failure with policy on the run , and a and a systematic failure on the administration management in being unable to control , delegate or police any programs that they introduced and in the back ground , Thaskin Shinawatra , pulling the strings, not a good look from a history point of view, they never learnt from past mistakes.coffee1.gif

Suddenly after running away for so long

she is a hero

there are more twist in Yinglucks biography than a Chubby Checker song

I'm beginning to think there is a media blitz of lies be rolled out from PTP yesterday and today, the sources for these news articles needs to be carefully scrutinised and questioned
