Can someone tell me if my understanding is correct, for the following noodles:

1. CHANTABOON (CHANTABURI?) NOODLES

Are these the same as SEN LEK? Same width?

2. SEN MISUA

Are these the same as BAA MEE?

3. SEN CHAN (SEN JAN?)

Are these the same as Chantaboon noodles? I read that they were slightly wider than SEN LEK.

Thanks for your help.

Dear mildmild,

Thank you for the information. Putting together my information and your information, I understand that:

1. CHANTABOON NOODLES

a. Also known as SEN JAN.

b. A little wider than SEN LEK.

c. Main noodle used in Pad Thai.

d. Stickier than SEN LEK.

2. SEN LEK

What do you mean by 'always used in noodles'? Do you mean noodle soup?

3. SEN MISUA and BAA MEE

a. Different noodles.

b. SEN MISUA is used for Chinese dishes.

c. What do you mean by 'BAA MEE is always used in noodles'? Do you mean noodle soup?

If you could tell me what you mean by 'always used in noodles', I would appreciate it.

Thank you for your help.

Dear mildmild,

Thank you very much for your offer.

Actually, I posted an enquiry in the Food Forum on June 2 regarding Palm Seeds and Palm Seed Hearts.

If you are able to help with that, I would really appreciate it. It is a little complicated and may require some research, so no hurry for a reply. If you are unable to help, that is fine.

Best regards,
